Status of Regulated Agent

An air carrier, agent, freight forwarder or any other entity engaged in air cargo or mail duties may be designated as a Regulated Agent according to the National Civil Aviation Security Programme and Regulation (EC) 300/2008 and its implementing acts.

Status of Known Consignor

A consignor who originates cargo or mail for his own account may be designated as a Known Consignor by Aviation Security Malta in accordance with the requirements of the National Civil Aviation Security Programme and Regulation (EC) 300/2008 and its implementing acts.
